April 15-17, Join Packer Orchards & Bakery for their first annual new recipe sampling weekend! Visitors can sample new scone, cookie, and jam recipes, as well as vote for their favorites! Sample first of the season rhubarb pies and house-made white honey rhubarb ice cream! It's also a great opportunity to sample Packer Orchard's new line of wine jellies, made from local wineries! The annual Hood River County Fair Blossom Craft Show is sure to wow visitors this April 16th & 17th at the Hood River Fairgrounds. This weekend long event includes more than 125 vendors selling jewelry, plants and clothing. Enjoy fresh baked goods, peruse and purchase photos, paintings, metal art, garden art, and even take advantage of wine tastings! Stick around for the annual quilt show, which includes more than 100 hand-sewn quilts.

Visit almost 40 art studios in the Gorge for the 10th annual public Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour! This open tour showcases the amazing talent of Gorge artists and the studio spaces where they create their work. Observe artists at work in their studios and ask about their inspiration and process. This free, self-guided tour features artists work in many different media, including painting, drawing, jewelry, glass, sculpture, fiber, mixed media and much more.
